Moth is a rich source of protein. We can consume them by making sprouts of them. Moth is also known as matki. You can make their chat subjies as well but kids usually don't like healthy food. Sometimes we also get bored with these ordinary dishes. I made This rice recipe Just to make something new with moth dal and also I want something light in my dinner.
One pot meals as it name suggest are the meals with enough nutrition. They are lees oily and also required less time. They are very light and sufficient enough. This is the MOST comfort food.
Moth Pulao is a combination of Mothdal sprouts,Green Peas. I also give some twist by adding baby potatoes which are first roasted in gravy.
There is no extraordinary Ingredient I have used here because I want to make it very simple. I used All routine Indian Spices with onions, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste to make a fine gravy. And then I roast baby potatoes, Rice, Peas, and moth dal very well and pressure cooks them for 10 mins.
I am using Frozen Matar here. I have shared a tutorial for preserving Matar at home in the past.
