when they crackle, add bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
add onions and saute it.
add green peas and saute it for a while.
add salt to your taste.
add cooked rice.
mix them well. and cook for 5 mins.
garnish with coriander.

you can a pinch of garam masala if you like.
I am using boiled basmati rice here. if you don't have cooked rice, after adding salt in the recipe,add soaked rice along with water and cook until the rice is cooked properly.
you can use ghee instead of oil in tadka if you like the flavor of ghee in this simple recipe.
if you are using fresh matar/green peas , cook it for 2 mins before adding rice.
