red chili powder

coriander powder

biryani masala

fresh coriander

saffron milk
Instructions
pressure cook your potatoes and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
add sliced onions.
fry them until golden brown.keep aside.
in the same pan, fry your potatoes. keep it aside
Heat oil in a pan.
add cumin. When they crackle, add asafoetida.
add ginger garlic paste.
saute.
add onions and saute it.
add tomatoes if you like.
add salt to your taste.
add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and biryani masala. mix it.
add fried potatoes.
add yogurt.
cook the mixture for 3-4 mins.
add cooked rice and make an even layer of rice.
add saffron milk.
cover with a lid and cook it for 7-8 mins.
Sprinkle some coriander and fried onions.
serve hot.
