Ingredients
for dough:
1cupwhole wheat flour
1tablespoonoil
salt to taste
½cupwater
1tablespoonoilto knead dough
for stuffing:
1cuppotatoesboiled and mashed
salt to taste
¼cuponionschopped |1 small
1teaspoongarlic chili paste
¼teaspoon red chili powder
¼teaspoonturmeric powder
¼teaspooncoriander powder
1tablespoonfresh coriander
¼teaspooncarom seeds /ajwain
other:
oil / gheeto roast paratha
Instructions
for dough preparation:-
add whole wheat flour into a mixing bowl.
add oil.
add salt to taste.
mix.
add water as per your need.
start preparing your dough.
knead your dough and prepare soft dough.
allow it to set for 20 mins at-least.
keep it aside.
for stuffing :-
take a mixing bowl.
mash your potatoes.
add onions.
add red chili powder.
add turmeric powder and coriander powder.
add salt to taste.
add fresh coriander.
mix it well and keep it aside.
final preparation:
take a portion of dough and prepare a medium size ball.
roll the ball into round shape.
take some portion of stuffing and prepare a small stuffing ball.
place this stuffing ball in the rolled round bread.
start pleating.
gently flatten the stuffed bread.
heat tava.
place your stuffed bread on hot tava.
spread oil/ghee on both side.
roast golden brown.
serve hot.
