fresh turmeric

cinnamon powder
Instructions
Wash turmeric first. peel the skin of turmeric.
Grate it or finely chop turmeric.
now, take a deep pan.
bring sugar and water in pan . boil for 2 min high flame.
Add grated turmeric in sugar mixture.
allow mixture to boil on high flame until thicken. It takes 10 mins approx.
turn off the flame.
add cinnamon powder and mix.
allow mixture to cool down completely.
store in airtight container.
keep the container in the refrigerator.
Notes
I have store this mixture in the refrigerator only. I have no idea how it becomes when you store at room temperature.
I have prepared this mixture five months ago and it is still fresh. however, I
am still observing the duration of storage.
The storage life of the mixture is 8-9 months.
