Ingredients
for dhansak masala paste:

mix vegetables
brinjals,potato,cabbage,cauliflower

methi leaves /fresh fenugreek
salt to taste

turmeric powder

to boil mixture

oil

tomato

fresh coriander
for garnishing
Instructions
For dhansak masala paste preparation:
add ginger, chili ,garlic, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves in a mixture jar.
add coriander powder, red chili powder , garam masala powder.
Add water and crush it to a smooth paste.
keep it aside.
dhansak preparation:
take a pressure cooker and add washed toor dal in it.
Add mix vegetables into it.
Add methi leaves,salt and turmeric powder.
add water and mix it well.
pressure cook the mixture for 5 whistles on medium flame.
Once the mixture is cook, mash it really well.
heat oil in pan.
Add crushed dhansak masala and saute it for a while.
add chopped onions and saute it.
add tomatoes and cook it until soft.
Add cooked dal mixture.
add water and mix.
cook the mixture for 5-7 mins on medium flame.
serve hot with
brown rice
.
Notes
Once the mixture is cooked,mash it really well. You can even use the blender to crush it to a really smooth and creamy mixture.
you can even add your choice of vegetables to make this recipe more comfy to you as per your choice.
