Veg Hakka noodles is an indo Chinese recipe which can be easily found in most of the food places like restaurants, street food joints in India. Hakka noodles are not only popular dish among kids but also among adults.Veg Hakka noodles is often served with Manchurian , Chili paneer, chili mushroom etc.noodles-priyascurrynation

Vegetable Hakka Noodles recipe with step by step photos: – When you are preparing Hakka noodles, Keep in mind that noodles have to be cooked perfectly. For that, keep check noodles not to overcooked.

I have also observed that Finely chopped veggies tastes and looks better than uneven chopping.You can also prepare fine julienne.

You might have heard about vinegar or good quality vinegar. Use that also to get perfect restaurant style taste. I am avoiding it because wanted to have some home style touch.I have also use schezwan sauce here to give my personal touch to the recipe.

I always prefer nonstick pan while making this.Non stick pan not only cooks veggies perfect but it also prevent burning especially when you are cooking everything on high flame.

kid's favorite vegetable Hakka noodles recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pack Hakka Noodles or 200 gms
  • 3 medium spring onions chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup mixed vegetable (carrots,cabbage,beans) chopped
  • 5-6 nos garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • salt to taste
  • 3 cups water to boil noodles
  • 1 tsp oil to boil noodles
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp schezwan sauce
Instructions
  1. First, prepare your noodles. and chop your vegetables and keep it aside.

  2. to boil noodles, take non stick kadai and boil water.

  3. Add salt and oil into boiling water.

  4. Add noodles and boil them for 5 min on high flame. boil your noodles until soften.

  5. Drain noodles and wash it in running water.keep it aside.

  6. now, Heat oil in nonstick pan.

  7. Add garlic,ginger and onion. Saute it for a while.

  8. Add chopped vegetables ,soy sauce, salt and schezwan sauce.

  9. Mix well.

  10. Cover your pan with a lid and cook veggies for 2 mins on medium flame.

  11. Now remove the lid and toss it on high flame for light burning flavor.

  12. Add boiled noodles and mix well.

  13. cook noodles for 2 min on high flame.

  14. Serve hot.
