Today I am here with amazing, mouth watering recipe, I guess every one likes chaat.my today’s recipe is Papri Chat.
Papri chat is a north Indian fast food. Chaat- is used to describe a range of snacks and fast food dishes. Papri is crisp fried dough wafers made from refined flour and oil. In papri chaat ,the papris are served with boiled potatoes, chilis Tamarind chutney toped with ‘sev’.

Ingredients
for garlic chutney
  • 2 tbsp garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
for green chutney
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup coriander
  • salt to taste
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 8 nos peanuts
for boiled moong
  • 1 cup moong boiled
  • salt to taste
  • a pinch of red chili powder
  • a pinch of coriander powder
papdi assembling
  • 1 cup potatoes boiled
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium tomatoes chopped
  • yogurt as per need
  • 1/2 cup besan sev [as per your need]
  • fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 1 cup boiled moong prepared earlier
  • chutneys we prepared earlier
  • 25-30 papdi puris
  • a pinch black salt to sprinkle
  • a pinch red chili powder to sprinkle
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney OR as per your need
Instructions
for garlic chutney: [optional recipe]
  1. crush all the ingredient to a smooth paste.keep it aside.

for green chutney preparation :
  1. crush all the ingredients to a smooth paste and keep it aside. 

For Moong:
  1. Soak moong beans for 3-4 hours.

  2. boil moong for 4 whistles on medium flame.

  3. once the moong is cool down, add salt,red chili powder,coriander powder .

  4. mix it well. keep it aside.

Papdi chaat assembling:
  1. place flat papdi puris on the plate first.

  2. add boiled potatoes on each puris.

  3. add boiled moong ,onions and tomatoes.

  4. add green chutney, tamarind chutney and garlic chutney.

  5. add plain yogurt.

  6. sprinkle black salt and red chili powder.

  7. sprinkle besan sev on the top.

  8. sprinkle some coriander and serve immediately.
