Moving to this recipe- Palak Dal is a Versetile recipe as this have diffrenet versions. This can be made with Yellow Moong, Pink Lentil , Pigeon pea lentil OR Bengal Gram. I am sharing pigeon pea version today.pigeon pea or toor dal like other lentils and pulses is a good source of protein and dietary fibre. It is low in fat and rich in B complex vitamins, calcium and potassium. And Spinach is a Good source of iron.

I have Prepared Dal Palak with Onion and garlic.onions and garlic have a strong flavor and taste. This recipe has the subtle aroma of ghee tempered with cumin. I have added fried onions on the top to add some flavors.I used it because I have it already. If you don’t have, you can avoid.dal-palak-priyascurrynation

Because we are boiling Toor dal using a pressure cooker, It adds more Creaminess into the dal texture.I Used Chana dal or bengal gram along with toor dal which is totally optional to use.I love Dal Palak with Roti and Rice. This is my super favorite Comfort meal. I Love this recipe with my simple khichdi as well.

You can Serve This With Plain Rice, Paratha OR Roti.
