I was very much impressed with this super simple yet flavorful protein rich recipe. Then i did my little research . I also tried this recipe several times at home and finally i am sharing my best result with you.This is very simple recipe.This moong dal recipe very light and easy to digest .
The original restaurant style recipe uses tomato paste or finaly chopped tomatoes.But somehow, i like to have tomato chunks in my dal recipes which is clearly visible in pictures as well.
The origin of the recipe is punjab As punjab has a wide varieties of dal /lentils recipes. One of the most loving part of the punajbi lentil recipes is "preparing tadka". If you have a passion for cooking then you might have same feeling just like me.😀
This moong dal fry OR yellow dal fry recipe goes best with rice, jeera rice or roti. If you are a momy then ,You should go with this recipe.Avoid green chilies while preparing this moong dal for your kiddo.
