eggless carrot cinnamon cake recipe with step by ste photos- Eggless carrot cake is very soft, moist and delicious cake recipe. Cinnamon gives a unique flavor to the cake .Carrot and cinnamon is one of my favorite combo as i used to use it in my very favorite gajar ka halwa. I have seen this recipe in recipe book and since then i wanted to try this flavor.

I think this is a perfect tea cake recipe. I didn't apply icing on this carrot cake as i want to make it for my tea time.
I love those pretty looking orange and red carrot flakes inside my cake💘 .It gives moisture and sweetness to the cake.
I am very happy with the texture i get in cake which you can see below.😛

I have not added any dry-fruits in this cake recipe but you can add walnuts. Walnuts goes best with this carrot cake. for icing, you can use cream cheese or butter cream icing.

  Recipe cinnamon carrot cake-how to make carrot cake

Prep Time :20 min
Cook Time :30 min in micro OR 50 min in cooker
Total Time :50 min OR 70 min
Serves :1 kg cake without icing
Cuisine : world

  • All purpose flour -1 + 1/4 cups
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Carrots ,grated - 250gm
  • Milkmaid -1/2 can OR 200 gm
  • Plain drinking soda - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 50 gm
Preparation before making: 
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F or 180 degree C for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Grease cake pan with butter or spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. If your butter is in the fridge then remove and let them sit on counter top and bring them to room temperature.
  4. Grate the carrot . Also measure and prep rest of the ingredients.
  1. Take dry ingredients (all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder)in a bowl. Mix well using whisk or sift it. Keep it aside.
  2. In another bowl, take butter and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add milkmaid and beat it well.
  4. Now add half of drinking soda,flourmix and mix.
  5. Then add remaining flour mixture and drinking soda. Mix it again. do not over mix it. Now switch to spatula and scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.
  6. Add grated carrots. fold it in with spatula.
  7. Pour the batter into prepared cake pan.
  8. Bake into preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Check the cake by inserting a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean then cake is ready.
  10. Remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes in the pan.
  11. Then invert it on the wire rack to cool completely. 
  12. garnish and serve.
