Corn flakes chivda one of my most handy and favorite savory snack recipe. This is deep fried snack recipe. This recipe is made from yellow variety Plain Cornflakes which will be deep fried later. This is very simple recipe i have learnt from my mom. This cornflakes or Makai chivda is sweet and savory in taste which complements best in masala chai. This recipe is actually Diwali snack recipe but I just love it with chai in Rainy days.

This plain cornflakes are known as  Corn poha OR Makai poha. You can easily get this in grocery stores.
Remember, These poha are not Ready to eat cereal flakes. If you want to make cornflakes chivda from ready to eat flakes, Then just roast it with little bit oil and roast rest of the ingredients as well.
I don't like roasted /fried Dry-fruits in this cornflakes chivda recipe so i am making it plain. You are allowed to add it .
