I think there is no need to have summer to drink Indian style sparkling water OR Masala soda. I am such a BIG fan of this recipe and i am sure you will loved this also.
Masala soda is very common drink recipe in India and you can get it in any soda shop.


I wanted to share this recipe for so long. Masala soda is very easy to make and simple drink which combo of lemon juice and sugar.
All you need is , Sugar syrup/chasni,lemon juice,black pepper powder ,chat masala and regular plain soda.

Some of my other favorite chilled drink recipes are Watermelon masala soda, grape lemonade, strawberry mojito, amla sharbat ,cold coffee

  Spiced Sparkling Water Recipe-how to make Masala Soda

Prep Time :5 min
Cook Time :10 min
Total Time :15 min
Serves : 3 glass
Cuisine : Indian

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 lemons
  • 1.5 tsp black pepper powder
  • a pinch chaat masala for each glass
  • ice cubes
  • 1 plain soda bottle
  • 1/2 cup water
    Method/Assembling:
    1. Heat pan and add sugar. Add 1/2 cup water and bring them to boil until sugar dissolves completely.
    2. keep the mixture aside.
    3. take a serving glass .
    4. cover half of the glass with sugar syrup.
    5. Squeeze lemon juice according to your taste.
    6. add 1/2 tsp black pepper powder.
    7. Add pinch of chat masala.
    8. add some ice cubes.
    9. at last pour chilled soda water and serve chilled.
    Note:
    • you can even add salt as well. i am avoiding it.
