BBQ mushrooms with step by step photos
I am such a big fan of barbecue recipes. when it comes to BBQ,the very first thing comes in mind is "smoky flavor" . My gosshhhh,That flavor is good enough to drive me crazy.
If you have "BBQ-nation" restaurant in your city,You MUST visit once at-least.The varieties  they serve is just fabulous.efore moving further,i wanna tell you -Please don't consider this post as a review of bbq nation. ;)

I have tasted my first ever mushroom recipe there at bbq-nation. Since then I always prefer bbq mushrooms if i have option.
Few days back, I tried my hands on bbq mushrooms.As i have promised at first,The recipes i will share are those which come out well for my family.So another Successful experiment is here.
The recipe is quite simple with simple ingredients requiring time to absorb properly.Now without creating any drama I am directly moving to my bbq mushrooms recipe.

  mushroom barbecue Recipe-how to make bbq mushrooms at home

Prep Time :6-7 hours
Cook Time :10 min
Total Time :7 hours + 10 min
Main Ingredient :mushrooms
Cuisine :north indian

  • 2 cups-button mushrooms,sliced or diced
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 tsp-Oil
  • 1 tbsp-ginger,chilli,garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp yougurt/dahi
  • A pinch -Red chili powder
  • A Pinch - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • coriander- 1/2 tsp
Other ingredients:
  • Cling film wrap
  • BBQ skewers
    1. Take a mixing bowl.Add oil,salt ,curd,ginger-chilli-garlic paste,red chili powder,turmeric powder and lemon juice.Mix them well and keep it aside. Your Marination is ready.
    2. Wash mushrooms in running water.If you are using small button mushrooms then just peel the outer skin of mushroom.
    3. If you are using quite big mushrooms them you can chop them according to your liking.I am using quite bigger one so i am using chopped mushrooms.
    4. Mix mushrooms with prepared marination and mix them well.
    5. Add some chopped coriander and mix well.
    6. Cover your bowl with lid OR cling film wrap.Put this bowl in refrigerator for 5-6 hours or over night so that our mushrooms can absorbs all the flavors properly.
    7. after marinating, place your mushrooms on bbq skewers properly.
    8. Directly roast them on medium flame until brown.
    9. Serve hot With any dip.
    *This bbq mushrooms are perfect party starter recipe.
    *I have also roast some cauliflower with mushrooms but i didn't marinate them so i am including cauliflower as a ingredient here.
