In this dal, very typical ingredients and spices are used. Toor dal OR pigeon peas splits is the main ingredient. I have also share Gujrati Moong dal as another version of this recipe. This dal takes festive color when peanuts and drumsticks are used in this recipe however on regular basis,we don't add peanuts and drumsticks.I am sharing Every-day meal Version here.
To get success, You have to balance the Sour and Sweet flavor.If you fail in first few attempts,Don't worry this will come only by some experience.I can surely tell one thing at the end is, "To make Perfect Gujrati dal is an art".
