Finally, This is my first ever baking recipe-post on this blog and i am quite excited about it.I am excited about two things today.
first,It is my hubby's birthday today and second ,It is my first ever baking recipe on this blog.I made this cake especially for my hubby ;p. And this is a Pressure cooker recipe. I still remember my 5th birthday when my mom made a cake for me and gave me a party with family and friends. She taught me to make a basic cake. But by the time i almost forgot the recipe.I was searching about cake recipes on internet for two months at-least.I also made some disaster as well.(hi hi hi ..;p)
I adopted this recipe from vegrecipesofindia blog and fullscoop blog. After watching lot of recipes on Beulah's fullscoop blog. I finally put my guts for this recipe.
I made this recipe using curd. M mom used to make this recipe with condensed milk but i am using powdered sugar and curd here.
I have observe so far,
If you want to make a perfect cake-You must follow the measurements.If your measurement goes wrong,you will not meet the perfect end.I am using Lemon-juice and baking soda in this recipe because the reaction of this mixture helps to make your cake spongy and moist.The use of baking powder in cake recipes is to get fluffy and light cake. I don't know about any substitute of baking powder.
Also, I am using fresh Lemon&Buttercream cheese frosting here.I am not good in decoration but i gave a try to this.
