I am here again with very basic recipe which is used as Chutney with south Indian dosa and Masala Paste for Mysore masala dosa.
This is very tempting Spicy Red chili /garlic and onion chutney used in mysore masala dosa as a special spice ingredient that is to be spread first.

Recipe Details below:

Mysore Masala Dosa Red chutney paste- how to make red chutney for dosai

Prep Time : 5 min
Cook Time : 5 min
Total Time : 10 min
Main Ingredient : Dry red chili
Serves : -
Cuisine : South indian

  • Dry Red chili - 7 
  • Salt - to taste
  • Onion,chopped - 1 small
  • Chana dal - 2 tbsp
  • Garlic - 4 flakes
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Water 3-4 tbsp
Method / Assembling:
  1. Heat oil in pan.
  2. Add red Chili,chana dal and garlic.
  3. Add onion and roast them well.
  4. Now turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down.
  5. Add this dry roasted mixture in mixture jar.
  6. Add salt and water.
  7. Grind them to a smooth paste.
  8. Serve With Dosa.
