Aloo Stuffing OR Aloo Bhaji is Fantastic Compliment For ANY kind of dosa recipes. I can't Imagine My Masala Dosa Without this aloo bhaji.It can be rolled in the dosa or serve as side dish with dosa.

I am sharing The Way i make Stufiing whenever i make Dosa. This is Tried and tasted recipe.I will share some other variations as well in future.
Masala dosa is favorite breakfast or brunch recipe at home.It is also listed as one of the most Tasty Recipes of the world.I usually Masala dosa with potato bhaji and coconut chutney.
Potato Bhaji is very simple and quick recipe. The required time for making this bhaji is about 15-20 mins.I sometimes add soaked Chana Dal OR Urad dal in this bhaji.THis bhaji has a sweet flavor of roasted onion.Curry Leaves and Mustard seeds in tempering is Must because this will add unique taste and flavor.
At last,Freshly chopped Coriander is added .I can't Explain The flavor of This Coriander in Words.

Potato Masala for Dosa


Prep Time : 15 mins
Cook Time : 5 mins
Total Time : 20 mins
Main Ingredient : Potato
Serves : 3-4 dosa When Spreaded
Cuisine : South Indian

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 3-4 medium size
  • Onions , Finely chopped - 1 medium size
  • Salt - to taste
  • Turmeric Powder - a pinch
  • Coriander,Chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves /Kurry Patta - 5-6 nos
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida - a pinch

Method / Assembling:

  1. Pressure Cook Potatoes for 15 mins for 3-4 whistles.
  2. when it cool down,Mesh Potatoes well.
  3. Heat Oil in pan.Add Mustard Seeds.
  4. When They Crackle,Add Asafoetida,Kurry Patta.
  5. Add onions and saute it for a while.
  6. Add Potatoes,salt and turmeric Powder.
  7. Mix them Well.
  8. At last add Coriander leaves.
  9. Serve Hot With Dosa.

Note:

  • You can add Bengal Gram in Tempering as well.For that,You need To Soak Gram in hot water for 30 mins.Add it when you are performing Step:4
  • You can avoid Coriander leaves.
