This Is different Combination i have used here. I love rice recipes and always want to make something new. In weekends , We Usually have pulao recipes with Dal Banjari , Cholar Dal,Gujrati dal and Dal Tadka.
This is Simple , Quick recipe without having any extra ordinary ingredients.You will Easily get Spring onions and If not available you can make it with normal onion as well.
I Also want to add some nuttiness  in this pulao so I add  Almonds into that . Almonds and raisins are always a classic Combination for any Rice Recipes.


Apart from this recipe I sometimes Make Tava Pulao , Lemon Rice , Onion Pulao as well.don't forget to check my tutorial on How to cook Plain rice.


Recipe Details below:

Spring onion and Almond Pulao

Prep Time : 15 min
Cook Time : 5 min
Total Time : 20 min
Main Ingredient : Spring onion , Almonds
Serves : 2
Cuisine :North Indian
Ingredients:
  • Rice , Cooked - 2 cups
  • Spring Onions , chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Almonds , Cut into small Pieces - 2 tbsp
  • Raisins - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 4nos
  • Coriander - for garnishing
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Matar ,Boiled - 2 tbsp

Method / Assembling:
  1. Heat Oil in pan.
  2. Add Almonds and Roast Them well. Keep It aside.Don't Remove Flame.
  3. Add Cumin seeds and Curry leaves.
  4. Add Chopped Onions(Also add Green Part of Onion) and roast them for a while.Add Raisins , matar and mix them.
  5. Add Boiled Rice, Almonds and Salt (to taste ) and Mix them Well.
  6. Garnish With Whole Roasted Almonds and Coriander Leaves.
  7. Serve Hot with Dal and Gravy.
Note: 
  • You can use Ghee instead of Oil.
  • You can Always Use ready made Roasted Almonds.
