Hey everyone,

Raita is a simple spread/dip made by adding fruits,vegetables and spices and sometimes tempered by curry leaves.

Today's recipe is Corn-Cappcicum Raita..

Main ingredient: Yogurt


  • Corn -2 tbsp
  • Cappcicum - 1 tbsp,chopped
  • Onion ,chopped - 1 small size
  • Yogurt/curd - 1 cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Oil -1 tsp
  • Roasted jeera powder - A PINCH
  • Coriander - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 4 nos


  1. Heat oil in pan.add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  2. Add chopped onion,cappcicum and corn.
  3. Saute it for 4 min on high flame.(for burnt flavour)
  4. Now add yogurt in bowl and add corn mixture.
  5. Add salt,sugar, roasted jeera powder and coriender.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Serve chilled.
