Today, I am going to share very famouse heavy break fast recipe- chole bhatoore.
Chole bhature are served with onions,carrot pickle,green chutney and achaar.it is popular breakfast around noryj-west India and other parts of the country.
Ingredients for Chole:
- Boil cheakpeas - 1 cup medium
- Onion ,finely chopped - 1 medium size
- Tomato, par boil deseeded - 1 medium size
- Garlic paste - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
- Ginger-chilli paste - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
- Garam masala - pinch
- Everest chole masala - 1tbsp(Optinal)
- Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp
- Coriender,chopped - 1tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for tempering
- Cumin seeds -1tsp
Method for Chole :
- Heat oil in pan and add jeera / cumin seeds,when they crackle add ginger-garlic-chilli paste onion and saute it very well.
- Add tomato and add all spices(salt,chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala,chole masala).
- Now mix this very well and cook for 10 mins.
- Add 1 tbsp water and boiled chekpeas.
- Mix and cook for 5 mins.
- Add kasoori methi.
- Garnish with coriender.
- Serve hot.
